In April, the registration of HGVs in the Platon system increased to 300-500 vehicles daily

For the first seven days of April, Russian carriers registered more than 3,000 HGVs in the “Platon” system. Daily, 300 to 500 HGVs are added to the system. This is the biggest activity recorded since the beginning of the year. According to the statistics, the charges to the “Platon” system increased by 8% over a day.

Additional revenues to the country’s road fund are allocated to the development and repair of the road infrastructure. The Federal Road Transport Agency plans to bring all Russian federal highways into the normative state by the end of 2018. In addition, by this date, at least half of the entire street network should be listed in the 38 largest urban agglomerations. The effect of improving the condition of roads will be felt by more than 40 million people.

Currently, the total number of registered HGVs in the “Platon” system exceeds 810 thousand vehicles.
