The ceremony of awarding the Blockchain Economics Award for the introduction and development of blockchain technologies was held at the World Trade Centre within the framework of the International Congress BLOCKCHAINRF-2018. A competent jury of leading experts in the field of development of the blockchain technologies from the Supervisory Board of the Russian Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain (RACIB) determined the winners in 12 nominations guided by the economic effect of the project implementation and the potential for its further scaling.
RT-Invest Transport Systems LLC became the winner in the nomination “The Best Digital Practice of Blockchain Application in State-Owned Companies and Corporations” for developing a project of a national digital platform in the transport sector.
Awards in various nominations were also received by the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow, Megafon PJSC, Sberbank PJSC, Skolkovo Foundation, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Fintech Association, Russia Today TV channel, TVZavr Video Platform, Petroleum Trading Company, RIGHT COIN platform, Third Opinion project. Figurines and diplomas to representatives of the winning companies were presented by Yuriy Pripachkin, President of the RACIB, Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the Committee on the Financial Market of State Duma of the Russian Federation, Maksim Fateev, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
