Users of the electronic toll collection system “Platon” can top-up the personal account and pay cash in advance on previously obtained and booked toll tickets through QIWI terminals and online services. The operator of RT-Invest Transport System LLC has concluded a corresponding partner agreement with one of the world’s largest universal payment services, which provides the possibility of paying cash through a network of 149,000 toll collect terminals.
“We deployed our own network of 24h 472 toll collect terminals used by carriers to register toll tickets and top-up personal accounts. The agreement with QIWI provides additional convenience for users of the “Platon” system: earlier they could pay for the toll tickets and deposit funds into the personal account by bank transfers, cards of payment systems, fuel cards, now there is the possibility of payments in cash through QIWI terminals. In addition, QIWI is a reliable and proven payment service,” explained Alexander Sovetnikov, General Director of RT-Invest Transport System LLC.
“The launch of our joint service will provide thousands of HGV owners with the opportunity to pay using the electronic Visa QIWI Wallet or in any QIWI terminal throughout Russia,” said Natalia Zhelkova, QIWI Group’s Core Services Development Director. “Important advantages of the service are the availability of payment, the possibility of creating a toll ticket, the availability of the option of making a payment in cash, as well as the instant receipt of funds to an account in the “Platon” system.
When paying through QIWI terminals, the amount of the commission fee from the payer is established by the payment service and does not exceed 4% of the payment amount. When making deposits on the website and in the mobile application Visa QIWI Wallet, the commission fee is 2%.
